Natural Stone

Genuine marble, granite and travertine for Fusion panel faces. Every panel is real stone slab, cut to a thin veneer and bonded to an ultra-light aluminum honeycomb core — engineered for the weight limits of an elevator cab.

    Custom cut from full slab — the same stone, color and veining you would specify for a lobby floor or wall.

    Aluminum Honeycomb Core

    An ultra-light aluminum honeycomb substrate bonded to the veneer adds strength and flexibility, making large format panels possible.

    Approx. 1/2" Finished Panel

    Overall thickness once applied to the honeycomb backer — a fraction of the weight of solid slab.

Natural Stone Panels

Stone gives a cab a permanence no other finish can match, but a full thickness slab is far too heavy for an elevator. Every CabCraft stone panel is cut from slab into a thin 1/4" veneer and bonded to an ultra-light aluminum honeycomb substrate, delivering large format stone panels at a fraction of the weight. The finished panel meets all code requirements for elevator interior finishes.
